WALKING/CYCLING: Find Putney Bridge and go to the south-west corner of it (opposite the church). Then walk along Putney Embankment (parallel to the river, going away from the bridge) past lots of other boathouses, until the last one on the left between Rotherwood Road and Festing Road. It's white and says "Imperial College Boathouse" on the front. Can't miss it.

BUS: 14, 22, 74, 220, 430 all go over Putney Bridge. Get off at the bridge, go to the south-west corner and follow directions above.

TUBE: Putney Bridge tube station. Go out of the exit, across the pedestrian crossing, and straight on down the road ahead of you until you get to Putney Bridge. Turn left and go over the bridge, then turn right onto Putney Embankment and follow directions above.

TRAIN: Go out of Putney mainline station and turn right to go down Putney High Street. Continue downhill and turn left just before Putney Bridge. You're now on Putney Embankment, follow directions as above.
